Let’s get to it. Halfway Home is done. We received word today that Comedy Central is not picking up our contracts that expire this week. And ya know what? It’s all good. We are all proud of how far we got with a self-created project, and even though the show was hit and miss, we feel there were far more hits than misses. I am truly blessed to have been part of a really fun project with my friends and I only hope we will be working together on something else again real soon. And I want to give a big thanks to Allison K. for creating our fan site and really helping to push the show. And of course everyone who has written to me about how much they loved the show. It has all been truly appreciated!
So onward! The specifics are still being figured out on the re-shoot of the CBS pilot, The Wizard. I’m still waiting to hear if I am going to be invited “back to the dance” so to speak. It looks like CBS wants to shoot it the first week of August, so hopefully I’ll have an answer soon. Again, keep the fingers crossed for me.
Thanks to those who dropped me a line about my two appearances on The 1/2 Hour News Hour on Fox News Channel. Well, it looks like Fox News can’t get enough of me right now. I will be appearing on their show, Red Eye this Friday night. I know the show airs in Cali at 11:00 PM. I assume that means it airs on the East coast at 2:00 AM (I guess that’s why they call it Red Eye?) I don’t really know much about the show, but from what I’ve been told, it’s kind of like a Politically Incorrect meets Best Week Ever. Check it out.
I completed my second Camp Pendleton Mud Run Race this weekend. Easily my favorite race of the year. I managed to shatter my time from last year by 6 seconds! I ran it in 55:25 this year and took 94th out of 1,860 individuals (3,500 people total ran it including teams). I came in 11th place in my male age division out of 159. But most importantly, I got REALLY muddy. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pics from this years race (I guess I flew by the photographers to fast) but just imagine me really tired and dirty.
That’s it for me on this chilly night in L.A. (it’s 82).
